

Rick was born in Beaumont, Texas, on October 7, 1946, to Albert Edgar Gallier and Laura Hildred Doors.
Rick married Julie Ann Milbradt in November 1987. During their 38 years together, they built a life centered on family, commitment, and mutual support. Rick was deeply devoted to his loved ones and took great pride in his role as a husband and family man—a quality recognized by all who knew him.
Rick was committed to higher education and lifelong learning. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lamar State College in Beaumont, Texas, and later completed Business Management Studies at LaSalle University in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed OSHA Supervision training through ASSP and received leadership certification from The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People program by Stephen Covey.
Rick spent over 30 years in construction management, establishing a respected and successful career. His professional experience encompassed general construction management, turnaround management, pre-assembly and modularization, structural and pipe fabrication, personnel management, planning and scheduling, and business development. Rick was recognized for his leadership, practical knowledge, professionalism, and integrity in managing complex projects.
As a Purple Heart recipient who served two tours in Vietnam with the United States Army, service to others remained an important part of Rick’s life long after his military service ended. He was deeply involved in fraternal and service-oriented organizations, serving as a Master Mason, Scottish Rite member, and Shriner. Rick was also a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Swamp Fox Post #3181 in Florence, South Carolina, and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. These affiliations reflected his lifelong commitment to fellowship, service, and tradition.
In his personal life, Rick enjoyed fishing and bowling, and he was a motorcycle enthusiast with a special passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He valued time spent with family, friends, and fellow members of his organizations.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Julie Gallier of Houston, Texas; his brother, Chris Springfield of Kountze, Texas; his children, Tammy Lee Croford and husband Todd of Clifton, Texas, Brooke Allison Lamar and husband Joey of Gatesville, Texas; and his stepson, Jeremy Lawrence Milbradt of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his niece, Laurie Lee Christensen, and her wife, Liz, of Houston, Texas, as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rick was preceded in death by his sisters, Diane Christensen and Joy Lou Gallier.
Rick Gallier will be remembered for his dedication to family, strong work ethic, commitment to service, and steady presence. His legacy endures through his family and those he touched.
