Forest Park South is more than a funeral home—it’s part of the community we call home. With most of our small team living right here in the area, we’re committed to supporting our neighbors and partnering with local businesses so we can thrive together.

Since opening in 2021 with a high school art contest that awarded scholarships to winning students, and through our ongoing involvement with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, we’ve worked to make community a part of everything we do.

Families turn to us for all kinds of gatherings—large and small, religious ceremonies and celebrations alike—and we’re proud to serve as a welcoming space for some of life’s most meaningful moments.

A modern, welcoming funeral home for every family

At the corner of Shadow Creek Parkway and Kingsley Drive, Forest Park South blends contemporary design with the warm, relaxed feel of the Texas Gulf Coast. The single-story, stucco building features soft neutral tones, natural light and flexible spaces equally suited for intimate gatherings and large celebrations of life—indoors or out.

Step inside our lobby, with a double-sided fireplace, comfortable seating and a coffee bar. Beyond the lobby, you’ll find private arrangement rooms, a beautiful chapel with floor-to-ceiling windows and seating for up to 190 guests, and versatile spaces for visitations, receptions and memorial events.

The visitation room offers a comfortable setting for your family and friends to share memories; the adjacent reception room can be arranged to suit most any kind of gathering. We can cater any celebration, whether farm-fresh breakfast, hors d’oeuvres or big barbecue dinner. Courtyards and covered porches extend your event into an outdoor setting.

The guest experience is enhanced through technology such as flat-screen televisions for tribute videos, music inside and out, accessibility for all, ample parking and even an electric car charging station. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a comfortable space.

Veterans and public servants programs

Forest Park South specializes in serving veterans and public servants.

Not all military families know about the funeral and burial benefits that may be available or that these benefits don’t come automatically and must be requested in advance. We have years of planning funerals with military honors and know just what to do.

As part of our commitment to veterans, we participate in the Dignity Memorial^® Homeless Veterans Burial Program, ensuring veterans with no family get a dignified military burial.

We also participate in the Dignity Memorial Public Servants Program, which recognizes the courage and selflessness of career and volunteer law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel. This program offers honorable tributes, at no cost, for those who fall in the line of duty.

History of Forest Park

The Forest Park brand family began as a single cemetery in 1922. Starting in the 1950s, it was transformed into a full-service funeral and cemetery provider. It later became part of the Dignity Memorial network, while preserving strong local ties and a heritage of excellence.
