Douglas Bruce Krauel

Douglas Bruce Krauel, 74 of North Royalton, Ohio passed away on November 6, 2025. Born on August 13, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a devoted husband to Bonnie Douglas Krauel and the late Elizabeth Krauel. He was a loving father to Kimberly Walker (Krauel), Jessica Douglas-Peitl, Nicholas Douglas and Chelsea Douglas. Grandfather to Destiny, Devland, Michael, Jayden, Brooklynn, Kaden, Makenna and Isabella. Great grandfather to Koda and Noah. Uncle and friend to all who know him.

Douglas graduated from Garfield High School in 1968 and went on to join the United States Air Force. He was hardworking and dedicated. He spent over 40 years working at Metropolitan Life Insurance where is was known for his many achievements and acquired many awards. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family, church and friends. Though he may not have liked to be the center of attention, he deserves recognition for his kindness, integrity and unconditional love. He loved God, his family, animals, fishing, traveling and good food. We find comfort in knowing that Doug's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends THURSDAY 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS. (WEST OF I-71)
