Personalized funerals and life story celebrations
At Baldwin-Fairchild Apopka Funeral Home, we pride ourselves on personalized funeral and memorial options that truly celebrate you or your loved one. Whether you are seeking a traditional funeral service or a Life Well Celebrated® memorialization, plan to have a large gathering or would like a more intimate service, we are here for you. We can help plan a basic cremation with a toast and cremains scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, a full traditional funeral service with a cemetery burial and a catered reception, or a creative outdoor event complete with live music, favorite food and drinks, and funeral favors. We take care of every detail and help your family celebrate a life like no other.
Imagine it: From scrapbooking to sailboats, guitars to golf balls, bird-shaped urns to balloon bouquets, we take the things that mattered to someone and string them together to create a singular, heartfelt memorial that perfectly suits a cherished loved one.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
At Baldwin-Fairchild Apopka Funeral Home, we also recognize that funeral arrangements and associated expenses can be overwhelming. In addition to assisting during your immediate time of need, our funeral directors specialize in working with families to plan ahead. By preparing in advance, you provide a sense of relief, peace of mind and comfort for your loved ones while ensuring your wishes are met and your budget is kept. We are here to discuss these options should you wish to do so.

Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes began in 1972 when Richard O. Baldwin, Jr., founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando.
Expansion in Florida
In 1974, Richard Baldwin expanded to Altamonte Springs, and in 1978 added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.
In 1980, he again expanded through the acquisition of 3 additional funeral homes in the Orlando area: Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory located on Lake Ivanhoe, Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden and our facility in Apopka, which was known as Bray Funeral Home at the time. All 5 of the funeral homes were immediately renamed Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes.
Our funeral homes today
Through more acquisitions over the years, Baldwin-Fairchild now has 10 chapel locations and 4 cemeteries serving all of the Greater Orlando area.
Richard Baldwin has always believed that families, regardless of their faith, social status or circumstances, deserve unwavering respect and dignity throughout the entire funeral process. It is that principle which has earned the Baldwin-Fairchild group of cemeteries and funeral homes an excellent reputation.
At Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes, we strive to provide the finest cemeteries and the most caring ceremonies for each and every family we serve.
