Kourtney has been providing compassionate care to families at Nelsen Funeral Home since 2013. She earned a degree in funeral services from John Tyler Community College in 2012 and became a licensed funeral director in 2014 after completing her apprenticeship. Kourtney takes pride in assisting families with highly personalized funeral and cremation services. She sees her job in the funeral home as a unique opportunity to be kind to others during one of the toughest times life has to offer.
Kourtney was born and raised in Chester, Virginia, alongside her brother. She now resides in Hanover with a family of her own: her husband and 2 daughters. When she isn’t in the funeral home, you will likely find Kourtney creating memories with her family, friends and neighbors.
