From the moment you step inside, you are immediately met with traditional, timeless décor, calming colors and an abundance of natural light. A beautiful courtyard with a flowing fountain and bench seating is situated in the center of the funeral home, providing a peaceful place for thought and reflection.
All of our funeral associates are Austin residents with very personal connections to the community. With a combined experienced of 200 years, our long-tenured team includes Spanish-speaking staff and a funeral celebrant. We work with all Austin-area cemeteries.
Seating up to 245 guests, our spacious chapel features chair seating that can easily be configured to your specifications. The chapel is very well lit with large windows overlooking the courtyard. For those interested in live music, we have an organ and piano available for your use as well.
The funeral home also includes a large visitation space with multiple viewing rooms off the main area. This visitation space can also be transformed for receptions, should you wish to gather with family and friends before or after the funeral service. We have full catering capabilities and are glad to coordinate these details on your behalf.

It is our promise to provide you with the utmost care and ability to create a celebration of life that is special, meaningful and personalized.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, our funeral home team can explain the process and discuss your different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
As an added convenience, we have an on-site crematory at our sister location, Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel on South Congress in Austin.
We also recognize that funeral arrangements and associated expenses can be overwhelming. In addition to assisting during your immediate time of need, our funeral directors work with families to plan final arrangements in advance. By preparing these details ahead of time, you provide a sense of relief, peace of mind and comfort to your loved ones while ensuring your wishes are met to your specifications. We are here to discuss your options should you wish to do so in advance.

For generations, Weed-Corley-Fish has been a household name in Austin, Texas. In the mid-1800s, Thurlow Weed and Jack Corley—both of whom were born into family funeral homes—founded the business on the philosophy of helping and serving their neighbors.
Weed-Corley-Fish North Chapel was the firm’s first funeral home, originally located at 17th and Lavaca in Downtown Austin. This location moved to its current building on North Lamar in the early 1950s. Soon after, in the late 1960s, Jack’s son-in-law, Laurens Fish, Jr., joined the family firm.
The business continued to grow over the years, with the purchase of Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel on South Congress in 1997, as well as the construction of Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis in 2008. A few years later in 2012, the firm acquired Weed-Corley-Fish Leander.
Today, Laurens Fish III and his dedicated team continue the time-honored traditions of generations past while bringing you an expansive range of options to suit your funeral needs. We are proud members of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, offering the compassionate care you expect from the Weed-Corley-Fish family and the value you deserve.
