Ratings & Reviews

Verified Customer Reviews

Since 2005, many of our customers have taken the time to tell us how we did each year via our Voice of the Customer program. Our star ratings and comments from families come directly from these surveys.

"The experience of having to work with a funeral home is never easy and is always stressful. I had heard stories of funeral homes taking advantage of people and working hard to upsell them on things. Thankfully, I didn't have that experience at Murphy's Funeral Home. Branham Mann asked us right up front if we had a plan in mind, which we did, and he worked perfectly within that plan and we got everything taken care of quickly and painlessly. We experienced no pressure and no attempt to upsell us. Branham Mann was very professional, as were all the staff at Murphy's. I was glad I choose Murphy's and recommend their services."

"Murphy's demonstrated compassion, patience, flexibility and always professionalism in my experience. Theron was great, and also (the funeral director) who was present during the graveside service (Theron was out of town) - very professional and kind. Thank you very much for being so kind, and coordinating everything. Murphy's made a very difficult time a lot easier, and for that, I will be always grateful."

"Brooke was very efficient and thorough. She made all the arrangements on a timely basis. She had good connections with the Church and Arlington Cemetery. As the director, she explained all the details and answered all of my questions. She and Tharon also helped arrange the Livestream of the Mass for the people who could not attend in person because of Covid. I also appreciated the calls about moving my mother to the funeral home from Rachel and the follow up calls from Tharon to answer a couple of questions."
