Easily accessible from I-75N and 285, our cemetery is located 20 minutes south of Atlanta, in Jonesboro, Georgia. The 45-acre memorial park, with rolling hills and dogwood, pine and oak trees, provides peaceful views in all directions. With 17 lush gardens and two mausoleums, the cemetery offers an array of burial and cremation options in a setting unlike any other.

Two rows of grand Leyland cypress trees greet guests near the cemetery entrance. A striking display of 30-foot flagpoles dedicated to each branch of the U.S. military comes next. With various shaded areas and plenty of open space, our property is expansive and serene.

From gifting roses on Mother’s Day to setting an elaborate display of flags throughout the park on Veterans Day, we love honoring families and their loved ones on holidays and days of remembrance. We also host a community day every fall for families and friends to gather.

As a courtesy, Sherwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum offers a quarterly flower placement program in which we place seasonal fresh flowers throughout the park.
