A modern Grand Junction funeral home
Designed by a funeral home architect and built in 1997 specifically as a mortuary and crematory, the Callahan-Edfast facility is a modern, welcoming place toor . Warm, smiling associates, a water feature and a foyer with a soaring ceiling and amazing natural light help create a soothing and hospitable atmosphere for each family who walks through our doors.
The non-denominational chapel holds about 200 in traditional pew seating. Families are welcome to use our Clavinova digital piano; a modern audiovisual system allows us to play music and show multimedia videos. A private room with a restroom adjoins the chapel and lends a level of comfort to families.
The funeral home lounge and coffee bar accommodates about 30 people for a reception before, during or after a service.
Our private on-site crematory
Cremation is an increasingly common choice, but not everyone knows that cremation can also include a beautiful ceremony or even a viewing with visitation. From a cremation without a funeral service to a cremation with a memorial that follows, we help you understand the variety of arrangements that are possible and partner with you to create a unique service for your loved one.
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory performs all embalmings and cremations at the Patterson Road funeral home. That means your loved one never leaves our care.
