History

In May 1968, Joseph O. Kilgore founded Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, Inc., in Jasper, Alabama. He served Walker County and the surrounding areas until his death in 1974.

His son-in-law Robert D. “Bob” Green, Sr. subsequently assumed the role of funeral home president, continuing the traditions and precedents set before him. Bob’s son Robert D. “Dell” Green, Jr. joined his father in 1986, serving as vice president. Dell is still serving families at our funeral home to this day.

Today, we are a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
