Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home is a comfortable place for family and friends to spend time together after the loss of a loved one. Fully remodeled in 2015, our funeral home in Lake Worth accommodates any type of service and serves all cultures and backgrounds.
Whether you want a traditional memorial service in our chapel and catered reception, or visitation followed by a cremation, or an off-site celebration of life with live music, we manage every detail. From convertibles to cupcakes, puppies to putters, we take the things that mattered most to someone and string them together to create a heartfelt occasion and fond memory.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
We encourage you to plan your funeral ahead of time. To help with that, Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home hosts seminars about funeral and cremation options and more.
Our funeral directors specialize in working with families to plan final arrangements in advance. By preparing these details ahead of time, you provide a sense of relief, peace of mind and comfort to your loved ones while ensuring your wishes are met and your budget is kept. We are here to discuss your options should you wish to do so in advance.
Lake Worth Memory Gardens cemetery
Lake Worth Memory Gardens, a cemetery located at 3041 Kirk Road, accommodates a range of burial needs. Families find well-maintained lawns, separate gardens, mature trees, and in-ground and above-ground options. Those who prefer cremation may select from mausoleum niches and find special places to bury cremated remains.
Lake Worth Memory Gardens opened in 1952 on what is now Kirk Road. The original cemetery property consisted of 60 acres.
Dorsey Funeral Home opened in 1972 on South Congress Avenue in Lake Worth. In 2000, Dorsey Funeral Home merged with E. Earl Smith and Son Funeral Home, which was originally located on South Military Trail and North Dixie Highway in Lake Worth.
In 2002, we added 3,400 square feet to the present location, which became Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
