Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty, formerly Curtis Funeral Home, was established in 1945 by brothers J. Carl Loflin and Homer L. Loflin. In the summer of 1953, the brothers purchased the former Dr. R.D. Patterson residence and renovated and expanded the building into a modern funeral home, equipped to meet all of the funeral and cremation needs of the people of Liberty and surrounding areas.
In 1977, Carl's son Jim purchased the business. Jim owned and managed the funeral home until 1991. In 2007, Loflin Funeral Home joined the Dignity Memorial® network. After more than 60 years, Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty continues to uphold a high standard of loyal, caring service to the community.
