Laura Ann Gallimore
Laura Gallimore is the newest funeral director and embalmer at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty. Although newly licensed, Laura has been a part of the Loflin Funeral Home family since 2014. She attended Faith Christian School through elementary and middle school and graduated from Eastern Randolph High School in 2010. She is a native of Ramseur where her great-grandfather established Brady Funeral Home, which is now Loflin Funeral Service in Ramseur, and her family’s connection to the industry continued through her grandfather.
Knowing her family’s history, Laura became interested in pursuing a career as a funeral director at a young age. Understanding that becoming a funeral director is not the conventional profession for a young female, she proceeded to fulfill her ambitions by earning her degree in funeral service education at Fayetteville Technical Community College. She completed her two-year apprenticeship at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in August 2016, quickly acquiring her pre-need (prearranged funeral) license and insurance license thereafter.
In light of her accomplishments, Laura has been appointed as the pre-need counselor for Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty. Laura takes great pride in assisting the members of our community, making their final wishes known with a personalized pre-need arrangement while still serving families at their time of need.
