Doug Glasscock was born and raised in Hoover and attended W.A. Berry High School. He began his career in the funeral industry in 1995. He is a licensed funeral director and has worked a range of positions, from cemetery superintendent to general manager. Doug considers himself blessed to help families from Pelham and surrounding areas at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery. He and his wife have 2 beautiful daughters.
Kristi Dawn Hall
Since 2004 Kristi Hall has provided expert guidance and personalized remembrances to families in central Alabama. She joined our staff in 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Associate of Applied Science in funeral service education at Jefferson State Community College. Kristi is experienced with Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim and Hindu funeral traditions, specializing in unique celebrations of life. She resides in Alabaster with her family and enjoys philosophical discussions, watching movies and thrifty shopping.
William T Hammett
William Tom Hammett is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate of Southeastern Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in pastoral studies. He has been a resident of Wilton, Alabama, since January 1977 and was pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in Wilton for 33 years, retiring at the end of 2009. William joined our staff as a funeral director in March 2011.
