    Sid is proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® team and strives to make a positive difference in the lives of each family he serves. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1976 with a degree in business administration and marketing. Sid enjoys spending time with his family, eating baked goods, playing golf and listening to music.

    Born and raised in Arkansas, Debbie grew up in the funeral business working for her parents in eastern Arkansas. Watching her father take care of families stirred her desire to follow in his footsteps, providing the same compassionate care. Debbie earned her degree in mortuary science from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She lives in Benton with her husband and their 2 children. Debbie loves to spend time with her family and volunteer in the community.

    Robert A Blackburn

    Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Robert Blackburn moved to Arkansas in 1994. A 1993 graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science in Houston, he joined the Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes group in 2008 as a funeral director and embalmer. Currently serving as a team leader, he previously served as general manager. Robert finds great satisfaction in assisting families during their most difficult times; making sure that their needs are met while creating a meaningful and lasting impression for the family, regardless of the style or type of service they choose to honor their loved one. Married and the father of 2 children, Robert has a son who serves in the U.S. Army and a daughter who attends LSU Law School.

    David S Lafevers

    Funeral Director

    David began working in funeral service in St. Louis in 1964 and attended Southwest Missouri State College and Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. He owned funeral homes in Bull Shoals and Mountain Home prior to joining Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes in 1982. He is a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. David is married, has 1 son and enjoys reading and gardening.

    An Arkansas native, Bobbie has been serving families in the Faulkner and Pulaski counties for over two decades. Bobbie earned her degree in mortuary science at the University of Arkansas at Hope. Over the years she has enjoyed giving back to the younger generation as they enter the funeral profession, accepting and mentoring them as she was when first entering the business. Bobbie is an animal lover and supporter of animal rights, visiting shelters and spending time with the homeless pets.

    Brenda G Sellers

    Brenda serves our company in a dual role as a certified funeral celebrant and a licensed funeral director. She joined Griffin Leggett - Rest Hills Funeral Home in 2015 after spending many years working in the insurance industry.

    Brenda feels honored to serve as a guide and a voice for families as they walk through the death of a loved one. She finds it to be an immense privilege to meet with a family and get to know their loved one through the sharing of precious and cherished memories. Brenda enjoys weaving those memories into a very unique and personal celebration of their loved one’s life. She finds it a rewarding and sacred responsibility to listen to a family’s heart, walking with them during that difficult part of their journey transforming their loss into a celebration of a life well and truly lived.

    Brenda and her husband have been married since 1978 and she has three sons and three grandsons, with whom she loves to spend time.
