In 1984 Mitchell Bartee began providing compassionate care to families in the Pell City and Leeds area at the age of 16. Mitch earned his degree in mortuary science from Jefferson State Community College in 1990. A proud part of the Dignity Memorial® team, Mitch is a location manager, funeral director and embalmer. He is passionate about caring for families in their time of need and is dedicated to celebrating each life like no other. If he is not at the funeral home, you will likely find Mitch enjoying fishing, spending time with his wife and children or taking an active role in his church and community.
Canaan E Elkins
Canaan has been a part of the Dignity Memorial® team since October 2014. He graduated from Jefferson State Community College in 2016 with an associate degree in funeral service education and received his funeral director and embalmer licenses in February 2017. Canaan has professionally served and cared for the families in Calhoun County since 2011. When he is not at the funeral home, you will likely find Canaan enjoying gardening, hiking and camping. Canaan and his wife are very active in their church and consider it a privilege to serve their community.
Gary R Kendrick
Since 1993 Gary Kendrick has been a funeral director and embalmer with Dignity Memorial® in Pell City, serving area families with the utmost professionalism and compassion. He graduated from Jefferson State Community College with a degree in mortuary science. When he is not at the funeral home, Gary enjoys spending his time with his wife, children and 3 grandchildren. He also loves fishing, camping and working with his church.
David Andrew Lambert
David "Andy" Lambert has been a funeral director with the Kilgroe Funeral Home since 2015. Before moving to the Pell City area, Andy served the families of the Anniston area as a member of the Dignity Memorial® team. In addition to serving local families with funeral care, he is the pastor of the Coosa Valley Church of God.
