Modern funeral home services
Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel is a contemporary red-brick facility on Highway 90 offering a beautifully furnished space with room for gathering with friends and family. Should you wish to host coffee and tea, wine and cheese or even lunch or dinner, we can handle food and beverage catering. We know that each life and each family is different, so we focus on personalizing every service.
Whether you want a cremation with a champagne toast and a scattering in the Gulf of Mexico, a full traditional funeral service with a cemetery burial and a catered reception, or a creative outdoor celebration complete with a full bar and funeral favors, we take care of the details. Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel is here to help you and your family celebrate life.
From scrapbooking to sailboats, guitars to golf balls, a shrimp boil to a beach luau, we take the things that mattered to someone and string them together to create a singular, heartfelt memorial.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
Bayview Memorial Park cemetery
Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel is situated on the grounds of Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery, a sweeping 57-acre perpetual care cemetery. We take pride in every aspect of our cemetery grounds and work hard to ensure it always provides a tranquil and serene place where families can gather, pay respects, remember and find peace with the passing of a loved one.
With mature trees, seasonal flowers and lush landscaping, the cemetery offers a range of burial options, including traditional in-ground burial with upright monuments and flat markers, hedged family estates, above-ground entombment in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum and among the few cremation gardens within 150 miles of Pensacola.
Please contact Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel and Bayview Memorial Park if you need help right away or would like more information about our services.
Fisher-Pou Funeral Home was established in Pensacola in 1868 by Felix Bonifay, which dates our funeral home back among the oldest, continuously running funeral homes in the state of Florida.
In 1987, 101 years after it opened, Fisher-Pou built a satellite chapel on the grounds of Bayview Memorial Park. Ten years later, the funeral home itself relocated to Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel and has remained there since the late 1990s.
Bayview Memorial Park was established in 1947 with only 6,000 burial spaces available at the time. Dora McAlister was the first interment, which occurred on July 2, 1947. Today, Bayview Memorial Park has more than 22,000 loved ones in its care.
Today, both the funeral home and cemetery are members of the Dignity Memorial® network, giving you the warm, familiar attention you expect from a locally operated funeral home and cemetery and the value you deserve.
