About

Just beyond the rush of the city is a place of peace and reflection. With 50 acres of green lawns and expansive Texas skies, Forest Park Southwest Cemetery welcomes all cultures and faiths to honor their loved ones in a setting where comfort and connection come naturally.

Since opening in 2022, Forest Park Southwest Cemetery has served families from Houston and the neighboring communities of Katy, Sugar Land, Fulshear, Richmond and Rosenberg. Located at FM 359 and Settegast Ranch Road, and with many types of cremation and burial property to meet your wishes, traditions and budget, the memorial park will be a lasting place of remembrance for generations to come.

A modern memorial park and event center

Private/semi-private estate at Forest Park Southwest CemeteryAt the heart of our cemetery is a state-of-the-art multipurpose event center, thoughtfully designed as a gathering place for both traditional religious ceremonies and contemporary life celebrations. With space for up to 200 guests, catering services and an outdoor patio and garden with a fire pit, the center provides flexibility for memorials, community gatherings, receptions and family events.

We’re currently building a funeral home, which will allow you to plan a service and cemetery memorialization all in one place.

History of Forest Park

The Forest Park brand family began as a single cemetery in 1922. Starting in the 1950s, it was transformed into a full-service funeral and cemetery provider. It later became part of the Dignity Memorial®network, while preserving strong local ties and a heritage of excellence.
