    Stephen Miller

    Funeral Director

After working several years in the areas of Gulfport and Pinellas Park, Stephen Miller became our general manager in 2007, serving until his partial retirement in January 2017. Today, Steve continues to work at our funeral home and other affiliated locations as a service director.

Born in New Albany, Indiana, Steve grew up in Gulfport, Florida, and graduated from Boca Ciega High School in 1966. After attending St. Petersburg Junior College to study computer programming and serving as an attendant at Gulfport Memorial Funeral Home, he developed a desire to serve families as a funeral director. Steve, then, began a 3-year apprenticeship under a licensed embalmer and later enrolled in the mortuary science program at the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis. Upon graduation, he returned to Florida and served as an intern funeral director, receiving his license in 1973.

Steve and his bride, of over 49 years, live in Clearwater, Florida. His 2 sons, daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters all live nearby in Pinellas County.
