    A fifth generation funeral director serving southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Sumner “Jay” Waring, III grew up in the funeral profession. Jay works hard to ensure that each family is served with the highest levels of dignity, care, respect and discretion. "Our entire organization is committed to doing all we can to help families as they face  one of the more challenging times in their lives—the loss of a loved one."

    Jay graduated from Tabor Academy in 1987, Stetson University in 1991 and the New England Institute at Mt. Ida in 1992, where he received his degree in mortuary science. He received his Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2001. Jay and his wife, Kristin, have 3 daughters—Abby, Bizzy and Frances. He serves on the Board of Tabor Academy and BankFive and is an avid fundraiser for the American Liver Foundation, having completed ten Boston Marathons, as well as the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, having completed seven Pan-Mass challenges.

    Kim Lariviere Perry

    Managing Director

    Kim graduated in 1985 from New Bedford High School and attended the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. She is a licensed funeral director in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

    Kim is dedicated to her community and profession. Among her many contributions to the community: She recently served as chairwoman of the Massachusetts Board of Embalming and Funeral Directing and is a member of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association. She sits on the board of directors of the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts Distribution Committee, library associate for UMass Dartmouth, treasurer of St. Martin's Church of New Bedford Board of Trustees and member of the Finance and Executive Committee for the Home for Aged People in Fall River.

    A lifelong resident of New Bedford, Kim is married with a daughter.
