Rick Pontius

Rick A. Pontius 64, of Pendleton, passed away on May 13, 2021. He was born to the late Paul and Thelma Pontius on April 6, 1957. Rick was a fun loving man who enjoyed joking around with others. He enjoyed the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, especially people watching the night before the big race. He always told people "I'm glad you got to see me". He was a God loving man and a serious "negotiator". One of his favorite past times was watching ball games from his special reserve seating at the Hoosier Park Casino.Rick was the families compass every single day. He is survived by his loving wife; Sue Pontius, children; Vicki (Paul) Johnson, Bud (Carli) Pontius and Ralph (Mary) Fancher, grandchildren; Austin, Kristin, Cassidy, Montana, Maverick, Cheyanne, Waylon, Hope, Peyton and Charlee along with great-grandson; Kolton, sister; Charlotte (Sharon) Pontius. Visitation will be held at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Funeral Service immediately following at noon.
