Our expansive grounds are a sight to behold, featuring mature trees, lush green grass, and impressive granite monuments set against the stunning backdrop of our mountains over 40 acres. Established in 1952, the cemetery is lovingly maintained by our dedicated staff. We offer ten burial gardens with various options, including two specifically designed for traditional upright monuments. 

Additionally, our grounds feature three unique mausoleums, each showcasing distinct characteristics and fine craftsmanship, with elements of glass and granite. For those who wish to create a lasting family legacy, we can arrange for private family mausoleums on our grounds.

We offer glass-front niches in all of our mausoleums, providing numerous personalization options to honor your loved one. Our grounds also include a dedicated cremation garden, designed to offer a serene and peaceful setting for commemoration. Surrounded by mature trees and lush greenery, the garden provides a dignified space for reflection and remembrance.

We Honor Our Colorado Springs Veterans

At Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremations & Cemetery, we take pride in our community's proximity to the military base here in Colorado Springs. This gives us a deep understanding of the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. Our commitment is evident in our cemetery grounds, which feature a striking Veteran's Wall of Honor. We are honored to host an annual Memorial Day celebration, and in the winter, we participate in Wreaths Across America, a yearly event where wreaths are laid on veterans' memorials at the same day and time. With clarity and compassion, we will guide you through the steps of creating a memorial service for your veteran.

History

We have been serving families since 1952, when our 40-acre property was designated as a cemetery. Our first recorded burial took place on June 20, 1952, honoring Rev. Chester Smith. In 1969, we underwent significant expansion, with renovations to our chapel and mausoleum. By 1988, we were proud to join the Dignity Memorial®  Network, expanding into a full-service funeral home with cremation services.
