Upon entering, you’ll notice a collection of military flags, serving as a tribute and testament to our veterans. Our space is flexible, allowing you to customize it according to your family’s preferences—we can add or remove chairs to accommodate guests.

We Honor Our Colorado Springs Veterans

At Dove-Witt Mortuary, we take pride in our community's proximity to the military base here in Fountain Valley, near the National Cemetery. This gives us a deep understanding of the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. With clarity and compassion, we will guide you through the steps of creating a memorial service for your veteran. 

In addition, we host annual community events in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans' organizations. We manage the details regarding military honors and are proud to have an Honor Bell—an enormous bell crafted from donated soldiers' medals, which rings seven times to show respect.

History

Dove-Witt Mortuary was founded by DeWayne and Sharon Witt in 1982 at a small location on Main Street in Fountain, Colorado. In 1988, we moved to a new, larger facility, which remains our current location. In 1996, we proudly became a member of the Dignity Memorial Network. Today, we continue to serve as Fountain Valley’s only hometown funeral home.
