Personalized funeral services

Reception room at El Camino Memorial - EncinitasWe get to know you on a personal level and listen to your stories for inspiration. Whether we plan a celebration on a yacht for a boating enthusiast or a rodeo-themed tribute with the dress code and music to match, we have the flexible facilities to accommodate your guests and the creative drive to mind every crucial detail.

Traditional religious services remain a timeless option, as do funerals with military honors. Cremation, with optional interment of cremated remains, marks another choice. Our tastefully appointed chapel welcomes celebrants of every cultural background and faith. Want to serve your favorite food or your own family recipes? Count on us to coordinate with catering so you can spend more time focusing on your family and guests. From music that evokes the perfect emotion to wall decor that speaks to personal taste, we excel in taking care of the details so you can simply reflect.

Cremation services

Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

History

At El Camino Memorial Encinitas, we trace our history to 1936. Our original location on Second and East streets moved to Melrose Avenue in 1949, shifting to an English Tudor brick building with an elegant tower and a chapel seating up to 100 guests. As we approach our 100-year anniversary, our focus remains on providing personalized memorial services that resonate with all who attend.
