Personalized funerals and memorials in Chattanooga

Lobby at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist-North ChapelAt Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist – North Chapel, you'll find funeral professionals who are committed to serving families of all belief systems and cultures with loving care. We are dedicated to designing personalized funerals and memorials that capture unique personalities. Personalized celebrations of life are our specialty. We help you imagine it and then we bring it into focus.

We believe funeral and memorial services should reflect the people being honored, and we create one-of-a-kind events that capture the passions of loved ones. Consider a breakfast taco buffet, an ice cream social or a sit-down dinner followed by fireworks. A funeral can even have a tailgating theme dedicated to a University of Tennessee fan, a delightful yarn bombing honoring the family knitter or suitcases spilling over with postcards and plane tickets for a world traveler. A memorial service can include a dove release: 4 doves are released and take flight as symbols of love, peace, hope and the person who has died.

On-site crematory

Our full-service funeral home has a private on-site crematory, which gives Chattanooga Funeral Home complete control of a cremation, start to finish, and means your loved one never has to leave our care. If you are unsure about cremation, a team member can explain the process to you. We can perform a cremation following a funeral service, preceding a funeral service or without a service at all. If you wish, cremated remains can be placed at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

We honor veterans

Hamilton Memorial Gardens cemetery

Mausoleum interior with chapel at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson comprises more than 100 acres of rolling green lawns and paths lined with mature trees. The Tennessee cemetery was established in 1953. These lovely grounds are a wonderful final resting place and also a calming place for loved ones to visit for years to come.

Chapel of Devotion is among the more outstanding mausoleum structures. The climate-controlled chapel accommodates as many as 50 guests for a committal ceremony. It is also home to a 10,000-pound Italian marble sculpture that depicts Jesus and Mary.

The cemetery's veterans section, Victory and Valor Gardens, includes a memorial wall etched with the names of the veterans buried there and topped with a bronze eagle.

We invite you to come see Hamilton Memorial Gardens anytime, or call us for a guided tour. We're always happy to show you around.

Ratings & Reviews

Verified Customer Reviews

Since 2005, many of our customers have taken the time to tell us how we did each year via our Voice of the Customer program. Our star ratings and comments from families come directly from these surveys.

"When I contacted CFH the first time, Bob Rogers spoke with me and answered my questions, putting me at ease about what I needed to do when my aunt passed (she was in hospice with health declining). After her passing, Russell helped me as he did when my uncle had passed. I needed a familiar face and a friend at that time and that is what Russell provided. He was very understanding of our needs and very helpful in helping us do things the way she wanted. I can't thank you all enough with all the help facilitating her service. Everything was perfect and the flowers were beautiful. My family was genuinely comforted due to the expert care you all so kindly provided. Thank you so much for treating my family and I as friends."
