A native of Chilhowie, Va., Anthony Harris graduated from Chilhowie High School, attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and graduated magna cum laude from John Tyler Community College as a funeral service major with an associate degree in applied science. He joined our team in 2019, and looks forward to serving and ministering to the families of Johnson City and the surrounding Tri-Cities area.
Anthony is an ordained minister and sees his career in funeral service as a ministry. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, a Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association high school basketball official and an avid Virginia Tech football fan. In January 2020, Anthony was appointed by Tenn. Governor Bill Lee to serve a 4-year term as a board member on the State of Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. Away from work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They attend Fellowship Chapel in their hometown of Bristol.
