Marjorie Lynn Frizzell, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021. Marjorie was born Jun 27 1927 in Georgetown, Texas. She moved to San Saba, Texas at age 4, where she attended school and graduated. She married Marvin Frizzell on May 7, 1947. Visitation will be at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Graveside services will be Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 3 pm at Bangs Cemetery, Bangs, TX.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Marvin Frizzell, her stepdaughter, Lynette Tondre, Devine, her father, Ole Olive Woods, Georgetown, her mother, Willie Alma Corbitt, Odessa, her stepfather, William Rennan Schumpert, Odessa, 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Henderson, Kevin Perry, Jason Hatchett, a great grandchild, Grayson Brown and great-great grandchild, Colter Minshew.

Marjorie was a wonderful homemaker, housewife, cook, seamstress, gardener, and mother. Her home was joyful and full of love and many generations loved gathering there. She raised her children to love God and serve Jesus. She owned a variety store, was president of Bangs PTC, member of the Bangs School Board, a Sunday School teacher and member of First Baptist Church of Bangs, Texas.

Ms. Frizzell raised 6 children, 1 Son, Johnny Frizzell and Juanita, Bertram, 5 Daughters, Cynthia Johnson and Tim, Bangs, Sheila Slaughter Curry and Sam, Brownwood, Shannon Wooldridge and Dan, Georgetown, Lana Frizzell Norris, Bangs, and Donna Hatchett and Bo, Zephyr. She had 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Marjorie "Binky" left behind a great legacy of love.

I remember from 1st grade until we no longer had room mother's Marje was there. We could not wait for her to come, she always brought goodies and they were delicious.
In later years I got to know her as an adult and she was just as I remembered loving , sweet ,and kind. I had the pleasure of knowing her for many years, as I went to school with Kim Frizzell Henderson.
May God Bless the family and comfort them in this time of loss.
