Richard Chester Field

Richard “Rich” Chester Field, 76, of Stillwater Township, passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, March 8th at Newton Medical Center. Rich was born January 25th, 1947 in East Orange, NJ to the late Mary and Andrew Field. After graduating from East Orange High School in 1965, Rich proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969. From there, he went on to work a long successful career at Prudential Insurance for 44 years, where he met the love of his life, his wife Betty Ann. Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University in 1982. Rich is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Betty Ann; his sons, Christopher and Patrick; his daughter, Laura and her husband, Erik Stenzel; as well as his grandson, Nathan. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
