Bob graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1972. He earned a football scholarship to the University of Colorado Boulder. In 1976, he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins where a knee injury cut his career short.
He married Carol Gregg in Arvada, Colorado in 1985.
Bob was an adored husband, cherished father, treasured grandfather, a faithful brother and an amazing uncle. He was lucky man and had many loyal friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Cole (Andersyn); and granddaughter, Jillian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Joan Simpson, his two brothers, Don (Sue) and David James. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he thought the world of.
