Dan Montgomery Foster

Dan Montgomery Foster, age 49, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Dan was born on June 21, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona to James and Denise Foster. Dan's love was restoring vintage Cadillacs. His most recent project was a 1969 orange Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible. This project includes restoring it from the ground up, including painting, sewing, and reupholstering the entire vehicle. He loved to travel, camp, and fish. Dan enjoyed going to local car shows and most recently attended the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction with his son. He was the travel planner of vacations for the family. Dan loved dogs and helping people. He would answer the phone any time of the night for a friend and stop on the side of the road for a stranger. One of his biggest wishes was to see his son, Landon, graduate high school and continue to college to follow his dreams. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and his sense of humor will be missed by all. He had a kind nature and a good heart. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Foster, his son Landon Foster, mother Denise Foster, and sister Lilli Foster. Dan was preceded in death by his father, James G. Foster. A funeral service for Dan will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
