Bobbie Nell Edgar

Born on October 21, 1941, in Decatur, Texas, Bobbie was the beloved daughter of Frank Florida and Nellie Wright. She was known throughout her life for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her warm heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In 1960, Bobbie married the love of her life, Roy Lee Edgar, and together they shared 66 years of love, devotion, and cherished memories. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy; daughters, Lisa White and Debbie Taylor; grandchildren, Holly Fowler, Bruce Biegel, Ashlee Taylor, and Rylee Taylor; great-grandchildren, Austin Blackburn and Kaitlyn Fowler; sister, Yvonne Baker; and brothers, Alvah Florida and Robert Florida.

She dedicated 18 years of service as a Patient Care Technician at Harris Hospital, where she cared for others with the same love and compassion she showed throughout her life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bobbie’s life on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Though Bobbie’s no longer with us, her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

We find comfort and peace in knowing that Bobbie is resting in Jesus, and we look forward to the promise of being reunited with her again.
